Risky Business is Happy Business?

Throughout our life we are faced with many decisions that fall into the realm of “risk”!

How often have you heard that the greater the risk the greater the potential return?

A 2005 German study concluded that people who take above-average risks have a higher-than-average index of life satisfaction. Researchers at the University of British Columbia found that among business managers in the US and Canada, those who take greater risks are the most successful. More risk, more reward—can you imaging driving a 60 foot long truck across the frozen ice!

Now that’s darn scary!

That’s why a lot of us like the idea of living on the edge: It’s in our DNA to take risks.

Done artfully and wisely, living a little dangerously engages our intellect, advances your business, and even makes us happier.
When I reflect on the business decision I made back in 2001 to pursue a career in network marketing, sure there was risk. Now 9 years later what seemed risky at the time truly was a positive life altering decision.

If I have learned one thing it is all about how you balance the risks you take and how that additional risk aligns with what will make you happier!
